FAQ

Helpful answers to common questions about sessions, structure, fees, confidentiality, and how the coaching process works.

How are sessions structured?

There is no fixed structure. Each session is shaped around the individual client, the nature of the work, and what feels most useful at that point in the process.

How often do we meet?

Frequency is agreed according to individual circumstances, availability, and the level of support required. This can be discussed during the initial enquiry.

What is the duration of each session?

Sessions are typically two hours. Longer or extended formats may be used where appropriate, depending on the type of engagement and the needs of the client.

Are sessions confidential?

All work is handled with discretion and in accordance with professional and legal standards. Confidentiality will be discussed clearly before the work begins.

Is coaching a replacement for therapy?

No. Coaching supports personal growth, self-awareness, and development, but it is not a substitute for therapy, mental health treatment, or medical care. This work is not intended to address acute mental health conditions, addiction, or medical concerns. Where specialist clinical or medical support is required, appropriate professional services are recommended.

Fees

All fees are payable in advance of the first coaching session and are non-refundable. Should you choose to discontinue the engagement, any unused fees will be donated to a charity of my choice.

Cancellation policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are chargeable in full.

Location

Sessions are available in Mayfair, London, or online via Zoom. All sessions are held in the UK time zone.

How do I enquire?

You can make an enquiry using the contact form or by email. The most suitable format, approach, and next steps can then be discussed in more detail.
